OTERIN’s highly specialised Engineering division enables us to
respond to industrial installation losses and those caused by manufactured
products or resulting from services provided by Insureds.
The division is subdivided into 3 main areas:
Petrochemical & Energy
Losses occurring within extraction, energy and chemical plants,
including those arising during processing, cogeneration and refinement.
Industrial Processes and Machinery
Focused on claims arising from the manufacturing processes within industrial
plants and from losses caused by either machinery or by the plant itself.
The team deals with all claims flowing from the
erection of installations and equipment and the manufacture and use of
machinery.
Engineering Liability
The Liability team works closely with our technical experts to manage
claims arising from both the provision of engineering and other technical
services, and those claims originating from third parties which derive from
their use of products manufactured by Insureds.
